FleetBuild is a fleet lifecycle, procurement, and operations platform that helps organizations plan, acquire, build, maintain, and replace vehicles from a single system. It centralizes fleet procurement, upfit project management, vendor collaboration, maintenance tracking, asset lifecycle management, and capital planning, giving fleet teams real-time visibility and control across their entire fleet operation. The opportunity is to replace spreadsheets, emails, and disconnected software with an integrated platform that automates workflows, improves decision-making, and reduces the time required to manage fleet assets at scale.

Fleet operators were juggling vehicle records, maintenance schedules, and operational workflows across fragmented tools, making it hard to see real status, plan capacity, or scale processes without adding manual coordination.

Discovery & Research

Worked with operators and internal stakeholders to map current workflows, identify the highest-leverage problems, and pressure-test assumptions about how teams actually run fleet operations day to day.

Strategy

I used a lifecycle-first, workflow-driven strategy to build FleetBuild as an AI-powered fleet operating system, focusing on digitizing the entire vehicle lifecycle, from planning and procurement to upfitting, maintenance, and replacement, while embedding AI recommendations, vendor collaboration, and automation into real fleet workflows so users spend less time coordinating tasks and more time making strategic decisions.

Challenges
